Free article submission guidelines for authors: 5 important tips to increase your article’s search engine discoverability.

 

  1. Create a meaningful, short and search engine friendly article title

        • Use maximum 2 keywords related to your topic: Put your keywords immediately at the start or within your title.
        • Keep your title short and precise: The length of the title should be no more than 65 characters.
        • Write a meaningful title: Your article, guest post should have a meaningful and good title.

If you wish to include phrase in your title, put them in the first or second sentence of your abstract.

 

  1. Optimize and write a compelling article abstract

        • Place focus keyword in the first two sentences of your abstract: Search engines only display the first two sentences normally in search results.
        • Use your keywords for 4-6 times: Always remember the purpose of your abstract, express the important points clearly, and precisely.

 

  1. Put keywords in your article at repeated intervals

        • Include keywords in your title (1-2), abstract (2-3), and keyword fields (4-6): Keywords can be focus keyword phrases, or long-tail keywords, rather than just single words.
        • Include keywords in your headings: Headings are important and assist search engines in understanding the structure and content of your article.
        • Research the keywords on Google Adwords and Google Trends keyword tools: Don’t forget that keywords are important for AI services as well as Search engine optimization.
        • Prefer using keywords relevant to your field: It is highly recommended to use only those keywords which are related and can explain well your content
        • Don’t superimpose keywords in your content: Search engines understand the natural and contextual flow of any content these days. They dislike too much repetition of keywords (mostly known as keyword stuffing.

If done so, it may result in ‘un-index’ of your article, making it hard to discover online.

 

  1. Be regular and reliable

        • Mention author names and initials in a reliable manner throughout the paper: Think of to be as consistent as possible with any earlier online publications.

 

  1. Linking your article

        • Place only 1 link in the article: Don’t link spam your good article content, 1 link is fair enough.
        • Internal links: Put internal links ( one per 250 words) of previously written article or guest post.
        • Share your article across various social media, networking, and other sites: It is good to have more inbound links to your article, search engines value, and highlight your content.
        • Encourage your friends and colleagues to link to your article: The more links from trusted and respected sites the more prevailing the effect. Don’t forget to do the same in return for them!
