In A Post-SmackDown Dark Match, Top WWE Raw Stars Compete

WWE “SmackDown” from last night served as the final episode leading up to WWE Money in the Bank 2022, and it featured a number of noteworthy moments. The Maximum Male Models, Mn.sôör and Ma.cé, were publicly presented to WWE fans. Madcap Moss also made his way into the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and the majority of the competitors in the women’s MITB Ladder Match competed in a six-woman tag team match.

What happened, though, when the cameras were switched off? Seth Rollins and Riddle allegedly engaged in a dark bout after “SmackDown” had ended, according to “PWInsider.” Rollins was defeated by Riddle after being struck by an RKO.

Since his RK-Bro tag team partner Randy Orton was forced to miss matches due to injuries, Riddle has had a number of highs and lows. On a recent edition of “SmackDown,” despite riding a surge of momentum, Riddle was unable to overcome “The Tribal Chief,” WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, making it clear that he will never again make a run for the title while Reigns is in possession of it. Riddle still has hope of winning the World Championship, though, since he qualified for tonight’s Money in the Bank Ladder Bout. He is aiming to get the briefcase for a title match whenever Reigns loses the Championship.

Rollins is in a similar situation; during the past few months, he has lost a number of high-profile matches as a result of his conflict with Cody Rhodes. Rollins is focused on recovering the Money in the Bank briefcase and pursuing Reigns’ WWE Universal Title now that Rhodes is out due to a torn pec.

We will also witness Theory vs. Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship, Bianca Belair vs. Carmella for the Raw Women’s Championship, and more title matchups in addition to the men’s and women’s MITB ladder matches. The complete card is shown below:
